Aam Aadmi Party has already announced that they are going to contest in the upcoming General Elections of India in 2014. We have also analyzed that Aam Aadmi Party factor will make effect at some level in some states. It will be close fight between Indian National Congress (INC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). So, every seat will be counted when going to form the Government in 2014.
There is no official announcement from the Aam Aadmi Party that where they are going to contest in the Lok sabha Elections 2014. As per our prediction, they will contest in some states where they have good number of volunteers as well as presence such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana. Still, we have to wait from the Official announcement of Aam Aadmi Party where they wish to contest in the elections.
If Anna Hazare comes with Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party in Maharashtra and Delhi then it will be much threat to traditional parties. Anna Hazare has big followers in the state of Maharashtra and he has already damaged BJP-Shiv Sena government in the past. So, it is very much easy for AAP to win good number of seats in the Maharashtra state and much challenging for Shiv Sena as well as BJP in the state.
If Aam Aadmi Party will contest elections in some states then they have chances of winning almost 10-15 lok sabha seats which is another big achievement within short time of period against giant political parties.
Still, it is Indian public and they can change their mindset at any time.
Aam Aadmi Party has given big surprise in Delhi Elections 2013 Results by winning 28 seats out of 70. It is big threat for two national level political parties as well as regional parties due to their grand debut. Winning 28 seats in 70 seats assembly is not small achievement when you are competing with two national level political parties with only fund of Rs. 20 crore.
BJP has already rejected Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) influence in the upcoming Lok sabha Elections 2014 with reason “AAP is State Level Party”. They have already done big mistake when they have considered AAP as nothing.
Arvind Kejriwal won the New Delhi seat with more than 25000 votes against Sheila Dixit. If we count total votes of all parties (except Kejriwal) in New Delhi seat, then Arvind still made good win. This shows how much Arvind Kejriwal is popular in Delhi state.
Delhi state has total 6 lok sabha seats and AAP can easily win 3 seats if this wave continue in favor of Aam Aadmi Party. It is also very big achievement for any new party to win 3 seats in General Elections without any support of communal topics as used by BJP and Congress.
Aam Aadmi Party has good presence in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh besides Delhi state. So, it is very important to look into these states where AAP is also emerging another challenger for other political parties. They have already announced that they will contest in all 48 lok sabha seats of Maharashtra state. It will make big threat to other traditional political parties like Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Shena, MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena), BJP, Indian National Congress and so on.
We have to wait and watch on the announcement of Aam Aadmi Party where they are going to contest Lok sabha Elections 2014.
What do you think about Aam Aadmi Party’s plan to contest 2014 General Elections of India ?
Surendranagar Lok sabha seat was won by the Somabhai Gandalal Koli Patel from the ticket of Indian National Congress in 2009. This lok sabha constituency has majority of Koli patel, Vaniya (Baniya), Rajput, Kshtariya and others. Somabhai Patel has good favor in the minds of public and he won the seat without any types of party banner. He has also won the lok sabha seat of Surendranagar in 2004 elections. Somabhai Patel was also able to win Surendranagar lok sabha seat in the elections of 1989 and 1991. So, it is very difficult for BJP to get this seat from Congress.
It is also one of the most important seat for Bharatiya Janta Party and Indian National Congress (INC). BJP will try to fetch this seat from Somabhai Patel. While Indian National Congress (INC) will try to keep this seat due to Somabhai Patel. There is no official announcement from the BJP and Congress that who will contest the elections in 2014. We are expecting that Congress will repeat Somabhai Koli Patel in the upcoming General Elections of India 2014.
